Best Season By A Hawk Wearing #6
Kirk Hinrich (2011)
8.6 PPG, 2.2 RPG, 3.3 APG in 39.1 MPG
Where do we start with Captain Kirk? One of the only two-time Hawks in team history, and surely one of the greatest. The most accessorized player in basketball history. The third-string point guard for the Hawks for 11 games last season. Though Hinrich did very, very little to win the team games last season (0.0 win shares last season), we still all love him the same, right? Right?
Who wore #6 most recently?
Pero Antic (2015)
Easily the greatest Macedonian player in team history, Antic played 113 games in Atlanta. Antic started 26 games in 2014-15, and 7 more games for the Hawks in their near-upset of the #1-seeded Indiana Pacers. Always a fan favorite, Antic was a rare big who could usually be found behind the three-point line. Antic joined the team as a 31-year old rookie, and made extreme impacts to very successful Hawks teams.
