Arby's makes fun of T-Mac on Twitter
Looks like Arby's isn't just "Slicing up Freshness" these days.
The restaurant chain is now picking on Tracy McGrady, the seven-time, NBA All-Star who is currently riding the bench for the San Antonio Spurs in the Finals.
@DragonflyJonez mused that the Spurs had picked T-Mac up from an Arby's when the team decided to sign him. The Arby's Twitter account responded with this zinger:
@DragonflyJonez Actually, we had to release him. He kept making too many turnovers. ;-)

C'mon, Arby's! T-Mac has taken enough abuse throughout his career, as he never advanced past the first round of the NBA playoffs until this season. Sure, he has only averaged five minutes per game throughout San Antonio's postseason run, but can't we just let him have a good time on his first truly great team? You'd think that the 34-year-old veteran could get a break from America's favorite purveyor of roast beef sandwiches.
Regardless of what haters like the social media people at Arby's are saying, McGrady is one win away from an NBA championship. If the Spurs win it all, do you think T-Mac has a tweet prepared to send at Arby's? Perhaps it will be something along the lines of: "I'M GOING TO QUIZNOS!"
