Real Salt Lake 1-0 Coloraod Rapids
Argentine forward Fabian Espindola scored in stoppage time as Real Salt Lake beat the Colorado Rapids 1-0 on Wednesday to remain unbeaten in Major League Soccer.
Real Salt Lake has won 18 consecutive regular-season games, moving within one of matching the MLS record. It faces Portland on April 30 and hosts Chivas USA on May 7.
Javier Morales set up Espindola when he fired a shot that bounced off the right post three minutes into stoppage time. Espindola emerged with the ball after a scramble and sent the winner inside the post.
In Thursday's other match, Toronto FC extended its unbeaten streak to four games after playing out a scoreless draw with the Los Angeles Galaxy.
It was David Beckham's first game in Toronto since the 2008 MLS All-Star game. The Galaxy captain unveiled one of his famous free kicks in the 70th minute. He curled the ball around the Toronto wall, but sent it off the post to the left of goalkeeper Stefan Frei.
Substitute Joao Plata had a great chance for Toronto FC late in the second half, but his header off a free kick was stopped by Donovan Ricketts.
