Tyrone Swoopes has taken a lot of flak over the years. That's to be expected when you're the starting quarterback at a school Like Texas; especially if the fans are expecting a higher level of performance.

Texas quarterback Shawn Watson coach takes issue with that.

Speaking with the media on Friday, Watson fought back tears when talking about Swoopes and how much he wants to see the QB become the player he knows he can become.

“Honestly, and no disrespect to anybody, I want to do it for him,” Watson said. “[Pause] I think when you coach you do it for the kid. That’s why I’m doing it. It’s not only him but it’s all those guys. When you get a kid that comes into your program, you share that kids dream. So it’s my job to be the best coach for him, for all of them. All of them have told me, at the end of their career, what they want it to look like.

It's safe to say that Watson is the president of the Tyrone Swoopes fan club.
