SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly says offensive lineman Christian Lombard and junior wide receiver Will Mahone will both miss the rest of spring practice after undergoing surgery.

Kelly says Lombard, a two-year starter at guard and tackle, had surgery Thursday for a dislocated right wrist. Lombard started the first seven games at right guard last season before back surgery for a herniated disk. He started every game at right tackle in 2012 and is expected to be a starter this fall.

Mahone had surgery for a fracture to his right foot on March 6. Mahone, who will be a junior in the fall, originally was a running back but switched to receiver last season. He has appeared in two games, but doesn't have a catch or carry.
