Casey Brockman connected with Jaamal Berry on a 15-yard touchdown pass early in the fourth quarter, and Murray State held on from there to defeat Missouri State 28-23 Saturday night.

The Racers (1-2) led 14-7 at halftime, but Missouri State came back with a pair of TDs in the third quarter. Ashton Glaser threw for one score and ran for another to put the Bears (0-3) ahead entering the final quarter.

Brockman finished 41 of 59 for 313 yards and two touchdown passes, with no interceptions, and he ran for another score. He was sacked four times.

Glaser threw for 337 yards, with Dorian Buford leading all receivers with 112 yards on nine catches. Murray State's Brandon Wicks intercepted Glaser's pass in the final minute to seal the victory.
