McEvoy gaining confidence at WR

Redshirt Senior Tanner McEvoy has bounced around quite a bit during his time at Wisconsin.

He has played quarterback, safety, and will now try his hand at receiver as Joel Stave has become the full time quarterback. McEvoy is a very talented athlete and should make the transition well.

After a few days of practice, he is feeling more and more confident according to WKOW out of Madison:

"I mean, it's a tough position. It's not just going out there and catching the ball. I got to work on my releases, I'm a big body so I've got to learn how to not give up my chest and just kinda get off the ball right and getting off the top of my routes and staying open so those are the two things I'm focusing on. It's new, new terminology, new language that I've got to learn. I mean it's all pretty simple, I mean pretty similar, but I just need to focus on the little things playing receiver so that's what I'm focusing on."

He will need to be ready quickly as the Badgers open their season September 5th against Alabama.
