Georgia WR Blake Tibbs intends to transfer

Junior receiver Blake Tibbs has confirmed his intentions to leave the Georgia Bulldog's program, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The speed receiver had difficulties breaking into Georgia's starting line up, after only accumulating four catches in his two seasons at the school. Once Isaiah McKenzie arrived and locked down the returning duties on the team, the writing was on the wall for Tibbs' exit.

When asked by phone if he plans to leaves the school, Tibbs replied: "Yep."

So what led to this sudden departure for Tibbs? "I don’t have any comment right now. I’ll let you know when everything gets worked out. I’ve got a lot to get settled right now.”

"Blake and I have met and he has decided it would be in his best interest to transfer to another institution,” Georgia coach Mark Richt said in a statement released by the school. “I certainly understand and wish him nothing but the best.”

Look for Georgia to now look for some immediate production from one of the talent receivers signed last February.
