Stephen F. Austin's season opener against Southwestern Oklahoma has been moved back a day because of concerns that the remnants of Hurricane Isaac might drift into East Texas.

The game originally scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday has been moved to the same time Friday in Nacogdoches.

Stephen F. Austin was 6-5 last season in the Football Championship Subdivision. Southwestern Oklahoma, a Division II school, went 5-6 a year ago.
