Harvey leads McNeese in 103-79 rout of Southern-New Orleans

LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) James Harvey hit five 3-pointers and scored 15 points to lead seven players into double-figure scoring as McNeese routed NAIA Southern University at New Orleans, 103-79 on Saturday.

Harvey was 5 of 8 from behind the three-point line and missed his only attempt from inside the arc.

The Cowboys are undefeated at home after a win over Ecclesia College. All three of their losses have come against Division I competition on the road.

Demarco Owens added 14 points off the bench and Quatarrius Wilson, Jarren Greenwood and Adrian Brown each contributed 12 points. Wilson grabbed 16 rebounds.

McNeese shot 48 percent from the field, connecting on 36 of 75 attempts, including 9 of 22 from deep.

SUNO shot 37.5 percent (27 of 72), including 13 of 37 from distance. George Brock hit 6 of 10 from beyond the arc and finished with 29 points, six rebounds and six assists for the Knights.
