Big Mover in Mexico City Bowman finished fourth in the Viva Mexico 250 NASCAR Cup Series race at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez on Sunday afternoon.

Impact Bowman would rebound well from his crash last weekend in Michigan. The driver of the No. 48 Chevrolet would come from deep in the field at 29th-place on the starting grid and methodically work his way through traffic. By the end of stage 2 he'd be all the way up to third-place. Despite not leading any laps, Bowman made the most of good track position late and earned an impressive fourth-place finish in Mexico.

Crash and DNF at Michigan Bowman crashed and finished 36th in the FireKeepers Casino 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday afternoon.

Impact Bowman would be in the hunt for a Top-10 finish Sunday at Michigan. However, he'd run into serious problems on lap 66. The restart to begin stage 2 would see heavy, four-wide racing action. Austin Cindric and Cole Custer would make contact in turn 2, setting off a multi-car crash. Bowman would get the worst of it as his No. 48 Chevrolet would go hard, nose-first in to the wall. The damage to the wall would actually bring out a red-flag period for repairs and cleanup. Bowman would be hit with his third DNF of the season.
