Impact Campbell said he thinks the team "dodged a bullet" with Brahmer's injury, indicating that it may not be as serious as it seemed. Brahmer had caught 10 passes for 179 yards and a touchdown through the team's first seven games this season prior to the injury. It is thus far unknown how long the sophomore tight end will be out following his injury, but a well-timed bye week will allow him to rest up for an extended time before the Cyclones host Texas Tech the following Saturday.

RJ Harvey - Flirts with 200 rushing yards Harvey had 25 carries for 196 yards and two touchdowns and gathered in 0 of 1 targets for zero yards during Saturday's 38-35 defeat to Iowa State.
Impact Harvey recorded his best result of the season in the narrow loss, and he represented almost 50 percent of UCF's offensive production. Jacurri Brown provided little support as a passer, but Harvey still posted a great result despite the offense's one-dimensional approach.

Jacurri Brown - Scores twice on the ground in loss Brown was 8-for-20 passing for 62 yards and two interceptions during Saturday's 38-35 loss to Iowa State. He also had 13 rushes for 154 yards with two touchdowns.
Impact With Brown at quarterback, UCF's passing game was almost non-existent. The Knights depended heavily on the feet of Brown and RJ Harvey to drive the offense, and the tactic worked until the second half when Iowa State came roaring back from a two-touchdown deficit. Brown started for KJ Jefferson for the second consecutive week, and although a change could happen at any time, he appears to be the best option for the Knights on paper.

Jayden Higgins - Nabs sixth TD against UCF Higgins totaled six receptions (on 13 targets) for 58 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 38-35 win over UCF.
Impact Higgins recorded his sixth touchdown of the season. He's been one of the most consistent receivers in the nation with a score in six of seven games this year. The number one wideout is averaging 9.3 targets per game which means that this scoring production should continue. Both Higgins and Jaylin Noel are stud receivers on an undefeated team vying for a spot in the College Football Playoff. Iowa State will be off next week before playing in a fantasy friendly matchup against Texas Tech.
