Impact This is interesting, given that Fairweather is third on the tight end depth chart and had all of one catch on one target in Week 1. Raise an eyebrow at this, sure, but don't read too much into it yet.

Tyrese Chambers - Catches another TD Chambers caught four passes for 79 yards and a touchdown against Texas State on Saturday.
Impact In Week 1, Chambers turned three targets into three catches for 67 yards and a touchdown. That earned him a spot in the starting lineup for FIU. With numbers like this, expect him to stay there.

D'Vonte Price - Rushes for 111 yards Price rushed 23 times for 111 yards against Texas State on Saturday. He also caught one pass for 20 yards.
Impact All eyes were on Price to see what he would do for an encore after it took him all of five carries to rack up 165 yards and three touchdowns against LIU last week. Obviously, these numbers aren't as good, but there can't be any complaints about a second 100-yard game in as many outings.

Max Bortenschlager - Throws two TDs Bortenschlager went 17-for-34 for 259 yards and two touchdowns against Texas State on saturday.
Impact After FIU beat up on overmatched LIU in Week 1, it remained to be seen what Bortenschlager would do against a tougher opponent. It was a mixed bag here. Two touchdowns and no interceptions is good, but you want to see a quarterback completed more than half his passes against Texas State, and this was a game that went into overtime at that.

Shemar Thornton - Not warming up, likely out Thornton (undisclosed) is unlikely to play Saturday against Texas State, Eric Henry of SBNation.com reports.
Impact FIU will likely be without one of its best offensive players with Thornton not dressed out for warmups. Bryce Singleton and Randall St. Felix stand to carry the receiving corps against the Bobcats.
