Impact Helton is entering his second year with Georgia Southern but is currently facing competition for the job under center from UNC transfer Max Johnson. The 6-foot-2 quarterback completed 14 of 26 passes for 74 yards and one touchdown across three games last season.

Kam Mikell - Signs with Georgia Southern Mikell will transfer to Georgia Southern, per his personal Instagram account.
Impact Mikell returns to his home state after a freshman year at Colorado that saw him reel in two passes for five yards, and notch 75 yards rushing on 19 carries to boot. He'll look to get immediately involved at Georgia Southern, and appears to have an inside track to do so after getting 21 touches as a true freshman in Boulder.

Andre Greene Jr. - Commits to Georgia Southern Greene announced his committment to play for Georgia Southern for the 2026 season via his X account Thursday.
Impact Greene will join the Eagles following two seasons with Virginia. The 6-foot-2 receiver appeared in just three games for the Cavs in 2025, catching his lone target for seven scoreless yards. The former North Carolina transfer will retain a single year of eligibility with Georgia Southern.
