Impact
Jackson gets a fresh start with a new school after playing last season with Mississippi State. The freshman did not record a catch during the 2025 year.

Cunanan has signed with Texas State, according to the team's announcement Sunday.
Impact
Currently enrolled at Toledo, Cunanan will transfer colleges. During the Rockets' 2024 season, he logged 15 field goals and 40 extra points made. Despite fewer FGM a year later, Cunanan recorded better accuracy, 72.7 percent. For 2025, Cunanan's 48 extra points made is his career-best.

Impact
While part of Arizona State, Sample logged 99 kick-return yards. Yet, he recorded only one target. So for 2026, Sample will transfer to Texas' state college, not Power Four but still an FBS school.

Reisig has committed to play for Texas State for the 2026 season, per Max Olson of The Athletic.
Impact
Reisig will join the Bobcats following a single season with Boston College. The 6-foot quarterback appeared in three games for the Eagles in 2025, throwing for 141 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions in that time. He will retain four years of eligibility with Texas State moving forward.

Sparks tallied four catches for 87 yards and a touchdown during Friday's 41-10 victory over Rice.
Impact
Sparks was a dangerous deep threat for the Bobcats in the blowout win in the Armed Forces Bowl. The starting wideout logged a four-game high in receiving yards and reeled in a 69-yard touchdown in the third quarter of the victory. Sparks will now close out his junior campaign as Texas State's leading receiver, bringing in 84 receptions for 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns across 13 games.

Dawn recorded his first multi-touchdown performance of the season in the blowout bowl-game win over the Owls. The junior wide receiver also logged a career-high 11 catches, further supporting the fact that he's been one of quarterback Brad Jackson's favorite targets this season. Pare was extremely efficient on 11 rushing attempts in the blowout win over the Owls, averaging 9.6 yards per carry and punching in a touchdown. The 5-foot-9 running back's collegiate career now appears to be coming to a close, but he took his level of play to new heights during the 2025 campaign. In the entirety of this past season, he rushed the ball 210 times for 1,128 yards and 12 touchdowns, along with reeling in 37 passes for 312 yards and two touchdowns all across 13 games.

Impact
The Bobcats demolished the Owls in the Armed Forces Bowl, and much of the team's success can be attributed to Jackson's dominance. The 6-foot quarterback dished out three-plus touchdowns for the third time this season, and he continued his dominance on the ground with yet another rushing score. Jackson will now close out his redshirt freshman campaign, completing 71.3 percent of passes for 3,223 yards with 21 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Needing a win on Saturday to get to the benchmark of six to qualify for a Bowl game, Jackson showed up. The five scores in a game set a new season high. Jackson used his legs for scores on 19, eight and six yard runs, then tossed touchdowns on 32 and 50-yard strikes.
