Davian Jackson - Joins Texas State Jackson (transfer portal) has committed to joining Texas State for the 2026 season, the team announced.
Impact Jackson gets a fresh start with a new school after playing last season with Mississippi State. The freshman did not record a catch during the 2025 year.

Dylan Cunanan - Signs with Texas State Cunanan has signed with Texas State, according to the team's announcement Sunday.
Impact Currently enrolled at Toledo, Cunanan will transfer colleges. During the Rockets' 2024 season, he logged 15 field goals and 40 extra points made. Despite fewer FGM a year later, Cunanan recorded better accuracy, 72.7 percent. For 2025, Cunanan's 48 extra points made is his career-best.

Zechariah Sample - Signs with Texas State Sample has signed with Texas State, according to the team's announcement Tuesday.
Impact While part of Arizona State, Sample logged 99 kick-return yards. Yet, he recorded only one target. So for 2026, Sample will transfer to Texas' state college, not Power Four but still an FBS school.

Shaker Reisig - Committed to Texas State Reisig has committed to play for Texas State for the 2026 season, per Max Olson of The Athletic.
Impact Reisig will join the Bobcats following a single season with Boston College. The 6-foot quarterback appeared in three games for the Eagles in 2025, throwing for 141 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions in that time. He will retain four years of eligibility with Texas State moving forward.

Beau Sparks - Totals 87 yards in bowl blowout Sparks tallied four catches for 87 yards and a touchdown during Friday's 41-10 victory over Rice.
Impact Sparks was a dangerous deep threat for the Bobcats in the blowout win in the Armed Forces Bowl. The starting wideout logged a four-game high in receiving yards and reeled in a 69-yard touchdown in the third quarter of the victory. Sparks will now close out his junior campaign as Texas State's leading receiver, bringing in 84 receptions for 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns across 13 games.

Chris Dawn Jr. - Finds end zone twice in bowl win Dawn posted 11 receptions for 75 yards and two touchdowns during Friday's 41-10 win against Rice.
Impact Dawn recorded his first multi-touchdown performance of the season in the blowout bowl-game win over the Owls. The junior wide receiver also logged a career-high 11 catches, further supporting the fact that he's been one of quarterback Brad Jackson's favorite targets this season. Dawn will now close out his junior campaign with 65 catches for 1006 yards and four touchdowns across 12 games.

Lincoln Pare - Hits century mark in blowout win Pare posted 11 carries for 106 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 41-10 win over Rice.
Impact Pare was extremely efficient on 11 rushing attempts in the blowout win over the Owls, averaging 9.6 yards per carry and punching in a touchdown. The 5-foot-9 running back's collegiate career now appears to be coming to a close, but he took his level of play to new heights during the 2025 campaign. In the entirety of this past season, he rushed the ball 210 times for 1,128 yards and 12 touchdowns, along with reeling in 37 passes for 312 yards and two touchdowns all across 13 games.

Brad Jackson - Records four TDs in blowout win Jackson was 17-for-24 passing for 173 yards and three touchdowns during Friday's 41-10 win versus Rice. He also had 14 rushes for 52 yards with one touchdown.
Impact The Bobcats demolished the Owls in the Armed Forces Bowl, and much of the team's success can be attributed to Jackson's dominance. The 6-foot quarterback dished out three-plus touchdowns for the third time this season, and he continued his dominance on the ground with yet another rushing score. Jackson will now close out his redshirt freshman campaign, completing 71.3 percent of passes for 3,223 yards with 21 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He also closed out the year with 174 rushes for 744 yards and a whopping 17 touchdowns.

Impact Needing a win on Saturday to get to the benchmark of six to qualify for a Bowl game, Jackson showed up. The five scores in a game set a new season high. Jackson used his legs for scores on 19, eight and six yard runs, then tossed touchdowns on 32 and 50-yard strikes. Jackson closes the 2025 regular season by throwing for 3049 yards, 18 touchdowns, seven interceptions, while also adding in 692 rush yards and 16 rushing touchdowns.
