Impact Stephenson did not make clear why Jenkins has missed most of South Alabama's spring camp, but regardless, he will enter the fall questionable. The wide receiver is projected to be among South Alabama's starting unit, so his availability will be paramount.

Projected to be the team's No. 1 wide receiver when healthy, his availability is crucial to a relatively unproven group trying to make some noise in the Sun Belt Conference next season. Impact The rising redshirt sophomore tailback had three carries for 41 yards and a touchdown last fall. He's expected to be a bigger part of the Jaguars' backfield in 2026, but he remains limited by an injury and isn't a full go in spring ball. He'll look to fully recover by fall camp.

PJ Martin - Recovering from injury Martin (undisclosed) is working his way back from an injury and is sidelined for the Jaguars' spring practice period, per 247Sports.

Impact Martin had 60 carries for 326 yards and two touchdowns last season at South Alabama. The tailback missed the final four games of the season, however, and is still bouncing back from that ailment that shortened his 2025 season. He'll look to be a full go by fall camp.

Everett Hunter - Lands at South Alabama Hunter will transfer to South Alabama, per 247Sports.

Impact Hunter caught 24 passes for 283 yards and three touchdowns with FCS Nicholls State in 2025. Now, the tight end is headed to South Alabama, where he'll look to make an immediate impact in the Jaguars' tight end room.
