Impact Wright led the Huskies' backfield in the blowout win over the Minutemen, topping 80 yards and being second to only quarterback Jalen Macon in rushing yards. The starting running back has seen volatile output this season, given the nature of Northern Illinois' rushing committee, but he has been their go-to guy in many instances. He'll aim to finish the season strong in a two-game home stretch, starting with a game against Western Michigan next Tuesday.

Impact Porter recorded a season-high five carries in the blowout win over the Minutemen, and he scored his first career receiving touchdown on a 67-yard score. The redshirt freshman running back will look to stay involved in the Huskies' final two-game stretch of the season, but he likely won't get a lot of touches unless NIU goes up big again.

Jalen Macon - Shows out as rusher in start Macon completed 3 of 4 passes for 73 yards and one touchdown during Wednesday's 45-3 win over Massachusetts. He also had 12 rushes for 98 yards with three touchdowns.

Impact Macon got his first start of the season against the Minutemen, and he showed out both as a passer and a rusher. While the 6-foot-5 quarterback logged just four pass attempts, he completed three of them for 73 yards and cashed a touchdown. The most impressive part of his performance was on the ground, though, with a rushing score in every quarter but the fourth. Given the dominance and efficiency of the blowout showing from Macon, he'll likely get a start once again next Tuesday against Western Michigan.

Josh Holst - Doesn't end up playing vs. UMass Holst (undisclosed) did not play in Wednesday's 45-3 win over UMass.

Impact Holst was questionable heading into the matchup, and he didn't end up playing in the blowout. The redshirt sophomore quarterback has now missed three games this season. He'll look to be healthy for next Tuesday's game against Western Michigan, but it's unknown if he would even get the start after continued struggles.

Brandon Rose - Splits reps with Hairston in loss Rose completed 11 of 20 passes for 101 yards during Wednesday's 45-3 defeat versus Northern Illinois. He also had eight rushes for 12 yards.

Impact Rose got in during the second quarter of the blowout loss, and he ended up splitting reps with current starter AJ Hairston. The pair both ended up finishing with not great stat lines, so it's unknown who will be under center next week at Ohio.

Impact Hairston started out the game for the Minutemen for the Wednesday showing, but he ended up splitting reps with position mate Brandon Rose. Hairston has struggled as UMass's starting quarterback so far this campaign, so it's not much of a surprise that the coaches are trying out other options. It's unknown how involved he'll be at Ohio next Tuesday now.
