Impact Gotkowski got his second straight start in the RedHawks' regular-season finale, and he ended up logging a career-high day. The redshirt freshman threw his three touchdowns in the first half to put Miami-Ohio up big for most of the matchup, and he helped them sustain the lead with 226 passing yards when it was all said and done. In his two starts this campaign, the 6-foot quarterback completed 25 of 47 passes for 411 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions, along with 18 rushes for 90 yards and one touchdown. Gotkowski will now have the chance to lead his squad to a MAC championship this upcoming Saturday against Western Michigan, which would be huge considering the Hawks lost in the chip last year to Ohio.

Impact Colzie was previously listed as questionable for Wednesday's contest due to an undisclosed injury that had kept him out of each of Miami's previous two contests. Though the 6-foot-4 receiver was able to suit up against the Bulls, he was very limited, totaling just 14 snaps without recording any counting stats. Despite his return to action, his limited opportunity indicates he may not be 100 percent just yet, and he will hope to get back to full health before the team's season finale against Ball State next Saturday.

The redshirt senior running back has now logged 111 rushes for 488 yards and two touchdowns on the season, with career totals in rushing attempts and yards. He'll aim to finish out what will likely be his final conference game strong next Saturday versus Ball State.

Impact Gotkowski filled in after Henry Hesson and the RedHawks couldn't get things going across two drives, and the once QB3 delivered a win for the squad. The redshirt senior will now likely be relegated to backup duties once again, even after getting a big opening with QB1 Dequan Finn leaving the program.

Impact Colzie missed last week's game against Toledo and is in danger of missing back-to-back games as he continues to work his way back from injury. More news should surface closer to game time in regards to the senior signal-caller's availability.

Impact Finn is no longer part of Miami (OH)'s football program, departing to focus on preparing for any potential shot to play at the next level. That leaves Hesson likely with the reins at quarterback for the RedHawks. He struggled mightily in his second start of the season last week against Toledo, tossing for 147 yards and three interceptions on 11-of-38 passing. He had a solid outing in his first start of the year back in September with two touchdowns and 208 yards, but that was against FCS Lindenwood.

Dequan Finn - No longer with Miami (OH) Finn (undisclosed) is no longer part of the RedHawks' football program, per Steve Helwick of Hustle Belt.

Impact Finn finishes his Miami (OH) career with 1,451 passing yards, nine touchdowns, six interceptions and 395 rushing yards with four scores on the ground as well. The former Toledo and Baylor quarterback is now reportedly preparing for a possible opportunity to play in the NFL, and won't finish out the season with the RedHawks. "Dequan's moving on," head coach Chuck Martin said. "He's got a shot to play at the next level. He's gonna train to get ready to do that. We appreciate what he did for us, we wish him the best, but we will not see him the rest of the year."

Deion Colzie - Doesn't play Wednesday Colzie (undisclosed) didn't play in Miami (OH)'s loss to Toledo on Wednesday night.

The starting wide receiver has now brought in 29 grabs for 726 yards and four touchdowns this season, and he's been the top option in the passing game so far. He'll look to build on an already career-best season at Buffalo next Wednesday.

Impact Hesson recorded his second start of the season with QB1 Dequan Finn (undisclosed) sidelined, but he struggled completely as a passer. The backup quarterback completed just 29 percent of his passing attempts, and he tossed three interceptions throughout the blowout. Hesson's struggles were a major contributor to the silencing loss, so it wouldn't be crazy if the RedHawks looked to QB3 Thomas Gotkowski next week at Buffalo if Finn remains out.

Impact Colzie will be a game-time call for Wednesday. The wideout has seven receptions for 133 yards and one touchdown in 2025. He's made at least one catch in all but one of his seven appearances this season.
