Impact Richter sat out every game past Week 5 for the Rockets last fall. However, the gunslinger appears to have made a full recovery and is in prime position to nail down Toledo's starting quarterback gig. Last season, he tossed for 153 yards, three touchdowns and one interception across three games.

Corey Smith - Lands at Toledo Smith will transfer to Toledo, per the Rockets' 2026 football roster.
Impact Smith got involved as a true freshman with Penn State to the tune of 152 yards on 22 carries, but in 2025 he was limited to just 30 yards on 14 handoffs. With three seasons of eligibility remaining, the former blue-chip tailback will take his talents to Toledo, where he'll look to crack the rockets' halfback rotation immediately.

Anthony Simpson - Moving on to Toledo Simpson has signed with Toledo, the team announced.
Impact Simpson entered the portal after logging just one target at Michigan. He's looking to get back to the level of production he had at UMass in 2023, when he caught 57 passes for 792 yards and three touchdowns. He appeared in just two games before sustaining a season-ending injury in 2024.

Impact For 2025 games, 60 is Petersen's most yards logged. He acclimated well to FBS football during the year. Peterson recorded 25 receptions (on 37 targets) for 335 yards and three touchdowns.

Junior Vandeross III - Seven receptions for 61 yards Vandeross gathered in 7 of 12 targets for 61 yards during Tuesday's 27-22 loss to Louisville.
Impact Vandeross' latest log was relatively pedestrian compared to that of his other games in 2025. But with his 61 receiving yards against Louisville, he finishes with four digits in the category this year. Vandeross logged 82 receptions for 1,008 yards and 11 touchdowns.

DeaMonte Trayanum - Touchdown streak remains intact Trayanum accrued 16 carries for 65 yards and one touchdown and caught 2 of 4 targets for five yards during Tuesday's 27-22 defeat to Louisville.
Impact Trayanum kicked off his 2025 season with a relatively uninspiring team against his former team, Kentucky. Since then, he has logged a rushing touchdown during each of Toledo's games. The running back recorded 182 rushing attempts for 1,015 yards and 12 touchdowns. They do not feature Trayanum's receiving stats, which include 21 receptions for 212 yards and two more TDs.

Kalieb Osborne - Competitive during bowl loss Osborne was 17-for-28 passing for 167 yards and one touchdown during Tuesday's 27-22 defeat versus Louisville. He also had 18 rushes for 77 yards.
Impact Toledo's last two games showcased that Osborne has upside, considering he logged 160-plus total yards and a 1-0 TD in each. Ball protection will be key if Osborne wants to be a starting quarterback, and turnovers are a concern based on his three fumbles (two lost) between the two games. In 2025, Osborne logged 709 total yards (427 passing and 282 rushing) and five touchdowns (three passing and two rushing).

Impact Vandeross finished out his senior regular season strong, surpassing 70 yards for the eighth time this season and leading his squad in receiving yards. The returning WR1 didn't quite beat his 2024 numbers in catches and receiving yards with 75 grabs for 947 yards this season, but he did record a career-high 11 touchdowns in the 2025 campaign. He'll now focus on Toledo's upcoming bowl game, and after that, he should have an opportunity to play football post-college at some level of pro.

DeaMonte Trayanum - Two TDs in regular season finale Trayanum had 16 carries for 94 yards and one touchdown and caught all three targets for 65 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 21-3 victory versus Central Michigan.
Impact Trayanum surpassed 100 scrimmage yards for his third straight game in the win over the Chippewas, and he also recorded his third multi-touchdown outing. The senior running back's move to Toledo will end up being a success, as he finished out his final collegiate season with career highs in every rushing and receiving category. Trayanum logged 166 rushes for 950 yards and 11 touchdowns, along with 19 catches for 207 yards and two scores. He'll now look to finish out his final collegiate season strong in the Rockets' upcoming bowl game.

Kalieb Osborne - Gets entire second half in win Osborne completed 5 of 7 passes for 108 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 21-3 win versus Central Michigan. He also had 12 rushes for 52 yards.
Impact Osborne filled in under center in the second half of the eventual win over the Chippewas, and he recorded his best game of the season. The redshirt freshman recorded his highest passing yardage, and he also threw a passing touchdown in the third quarter. With QB1 Tucker Gleason being sidelined for unknown reasons, Osborne could play at quarterback again in Toledo's upcoming bowl game. If not in the bowl game, Osborne will have the chance to compete for the Rockets' starting quarterback spot in the 2026 campaign.
