Will Hammond - Receives first action at Texas Tech Hammond completed 5 of 7 passes for 70 yards during Saturday's 66-21 win against North Texas.

Impact Hammond, a true freshman, received his first game action at Texas Tech. Starter Behren Morton was fantastic against North Texas and only needed to play the first half. This allowed for the Red Raiders to get a look at their future prospects at quarterback. Texas Tech will play Arizona State next week.

Impact Conyers hauled in his second touchdown of the season and now has 11 grabs (on 11 targets) for 105 yards and two touchdowns. He'll go up against his former team next week as Texas Tech hosts Arizona State.

Impact Kelly had just two targets but was able to notch his second touchdown of the season. The opportunities for Kelly were much different in this one as Texas Tech led 52-7 at halftime. The star receiver will get closer to his usual double-digit targets when the team plays Arizona State next week.

Impact Eakin had an amazing sequence on his only catch which went for 70 yards and a touchdown. Texas Tech blew out the Mean Green with a 52-7 lead at halftime. Eakin is going to have some huge games in 2024 and he's a play against Arizona State next week.

Impact Williams managed his first five touches with the team and was able to grind out his first score. The true freshman saw an uptick as Cam'Ron Valdez was held out with an injury and the team absolutely blew out North Texas at home. Texas Tech will play Arizona State next week.

Impact Dickey recorded a touchdown for the second week in a row, this one coming via the ground. The true freshman received a career-high 10 carries as Cam'Ron Valdez is nursing an injury. Tahj Brooks is the surefire starter for the team, but Dickey has been impressive with limited reps. Texas Tech will play Arizona State next week.
