John Stephens - Reels in touchdown Stephens had three catches for 48 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 27-24 win over Nicholls.
Impact Stephens connected with Levi Lewis on Louisiana's first drive of the game to open the scoring on Saturday. The touchdown was Stephens' first in college football. After playing in one game for TCU last season, the junior (and Louisiana native) is ready for a fresh start with the Ragin' Cajuns.

Chris Smith - Strong against Nicholls Smith had 11 carries for 46 yards in Saturday's 27-24 win over Nicholls. He added one catch for nine yards.
Impact Louisiana's RB1 poured in an almost identical performance to last week's, albeit without the touchdown. He led the Ragin' Cajuns in carries with 11 and averaged 4.2 yards per attempt. The junior has rushed for 99 yards twice in his career, but has never gotten to 100. He'll take another crack at that milestone against Ohio next week.

Levi Lewis - Survives scare from Nicholls Lewis completed 19 of 33 passes for 304 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's 27-24 win over Nicholls. He added five carries for 30 yards.
Impact After coming up short against Texas last week, Lewis put in a stellar performance that ended up being just enough to squeak by a live Nicholls team. He surpassed the 300-yard mark for the third time in his career while not turning the ball over and firing two touchdowns. The senior pivot will welcome an 0-2 Ohio team that just lost to Duquesne into Cajun Field next week before diving into conference play.
