Impact Before a final word on Edwards' injury is expected Saturday or Sunday, Hummer stated that there is hope the quarterback will be available for Week 3, when Wisconsin and Alabama play. Hummer's statement implies that Edwards is likely to sit out Week 2, which includes the Badgers hosting Middle Tennessee State on Sept. 6. In place of Edwards, Danny O'Neil played during Week 1, and such is expected to happen in Week 2 and until further notice until the former is fully healthy.
