D'Wanye' Winfield - First start of season Winfield completed 14 of 28 passes for 243 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 24-14 defeat to James Madison. He also had 15 rushes for 23 yards.
Impact Winfield started his first game of the season on Saturday and has a nice game. Winfield threw a season high pass attempts which allowed him to reach a new high in yards, surpassing his previous high of 125. Winfield's touchdown passes both came in the second quarter on five and 69-yard strikes. On the season, Winfield has now thrown for 372 yards, four touchdowns and one interception in parts of five games. Up next Saturday is a home matchup with Southern Miss.

Impact Ellis was quarterback Alonza Barnett's favourite target on Saturday, leading the team in receptions, yards and touchdowns. Knight has run for 85-yards or more in five of the team's first six weeks. Knight has run for 537 yards and four touchdowns through those six games, while also chipping in 21 receptions for 138 yards.

Alonza Barnett III - Tosses three touchdowns in win Barnett was 26-for-40 passing for 290 yards, three touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 24-14 win over Louisiana. He also had five rushes for 28 yards.
Impact Barnett got back on track after a poor Week 6 showing. The 290 yards and three passing touchdowns were both highs in a game this season. Barnett connected with wideout Landon Ellis for all three scores on two four yard passes and a 62-yard toss. Through six games, Barnett has thrown for 957 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions. The Dukes sit at 5-1 and have a home matchup with Old Dominion next Saturday.
