Khalil Wilkins - Transfers to Marshall Wilkins is transferring to Marshall, per Matt Zenitz of CBSSports.
Impact Wilkins spent last season at West Virginia, appearing in six games and completing 16 of his 36 pass attempts for 185 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in addition to carrying the ball 58 times for 243 yards and two more touchdowns. He could serve as Marshall's backup quarterback behind Carlos Del Rio-Wilson during the 2026 campaign.

He will retain two years of eligibility with Marshall moving forward.

Impact Wilcox will join the Thundering Herd following two seasons with Kentucky. The 5-foot-10 running back did not play in a game for the Wildcats in 2025 but ran for 590 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 6.4 YPC as a freshman in 2024. He will retain three years of eligibility with Marshall moving forward.

Chris Culliver - Joining Marshall Culliver announced his committment to play for Marshall for the 2026 season via his X account.
Impact Culliver will join the Thundering Herd following three seasons with North Carolina. The 6-foot-2 receiver appeared in six games for the Tar Heels in 2025, catching five passes for 100 yards and a single touchdown. He will retain a single year of eligibility with Marshall.

Carlos Del Rio-Wilson - Will return to Marshall in 2026 Del Rio-Wilson has been granted an additional year of eligibility by the NCAA and will return to Marshall next fall, per The Herd Scoop.
Impact Del Rio-Wilson had a career year with Marshall as a redshirt junior, tossing for 2,043 yards, 17 touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 66.8 percent of his passes. He also ran for 661 yards and six touchdowns. With one more season of eligibility, he'll run it back with the Thundering Herd in 2026, presumably locked into its starting quarterback role.

Zion Turner - Enters again in loss Turner completed 13-of-19 passes for 172 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 24-19 defeat to Georgia Southern.
Impact For the second straight game, Turner entered to replace Carlos Del Rio-Wilson. Turner looked very strong, throwing for a season high in yards and tossing for his first touchdown pass of 2025, when he found Adrian Norton in the fourth quarter for a 41-yard score. The Junior quarterback, wraps up his 2025 campaign by throwing for 409 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Carlos Del Rio-Wilson - Pulled again in loss Del Rio-Wilson was nine-for-16 passing for 136 yards and one interception during Saturday's 24-19 loss against Georgia Southern.
Impact Del Rio-Wilson really struggled to close out the 2025 regular season, getting replaced by Zion Turner in the final two contests. The Junior quarterback show flashes of strong play over the course of the season, throwing for 2043 yards, 17 touchdowns and five interceptions, while also adding in 660 yards and six touchdowns on the ground. This could be a player to watch out for in the transfer portal.

Impact Roberts totalled only one carry on Saturday, but he sure made his mark, scoring a 17-yard touchdown late in the third quarter. The Junior running back, recorded 90 carries in 2025 and turned that into 512 yards and four touchdowns, good for the team lead amongst running backs in attempts and yards.

Michael Allen - Tough sledding in loss Allen recorded five rushes for 14 yards and hauled in their only target for four yards during Saturday's 24-19 loss against Georgia Southern.
Impact The Herd really struggled to get the run game going on Saturday, with the leading rusher being Antwan Roberts, who only ran for 17 yards. The Junior running back closes 2025 with 385 yards and four touchdowns on 77 carries.

Adrian Norton - Big day in loss Norton caught eight of nine targets for 160 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 24-19 loss against Georgia Southern.
Impact Norton closed out the 2025 regular season on Saturday with his finest showing. The wideout set a new high in yards with 160, surpassing the previous high of 56 from Nov.15, when he totalled 56. Quarterback Zion Turner found Norton for a 41-yard score in the fourth quarter. The Junior, finishes 2025 with a receiving line of 28-383-5, tying Demarcus Lacey for a the team lead in touchdowns.

Impact Lacey had a very strong 2025 season, leading the Herd pass-catchers in receptions, yards and tying for the team lead in touchdowns with Adrian Norton. The Senior wideout finishes the year with a receiving line of 65-769-5, through 12 games played.

Justin Williams-Thomas - DNP Saturday Williams-Thomas (undisclosed) was held out of Saturday's 24-19 loss to Georgia Southern.
Impact Williams-Thomas was previously listed as questionable ahead of Saturday's contest due to an undisclosed injury, but was unable to suit up against the Eagles, marking his third straight missed game to end the season. The 6-foot running back will finish the 2025 regular season with 197 yards and two touchdowns on 5.6 yards per attempt on the ground while adding three receptions for 41 yards and a score through the air across nine contests. With Marshall finishing 5-7 on the year, Williams-Thomas' season is over and he will prepare for next year.

Impact Lacey set his second highest total for yards in a game on Saturday, only trailing the 146 yard showing, he set back in Week 5 against Louisiana-Lafayette. The Senior wideout will take a strong 61-716-5, receiving line into the Herd's final regular season game against Georgia Southern.

Jo'Shon Barbie - Best day of 2025 campaign Barbie logged 10 rushes for 102 yards and one touchdown and gathered in their only target for six yards during Saturday's 26-24 defeat to Appalachian State.
Impact Barbie exploded on Saturday, surpassing his previous high of 67 yards, set back in Week 2. The touchdown, came on a five yard run in the first quarter, to put the Herd on the board. Barbie has run for 241 yards and five touchdowns in 2025.
