Impact Considering that Braylon Braxton maximized his collegiate eligibility, Southern Miss' quarterback room requires a new QB1 for 2026. Even though Hampton logged a statistically limited 2025, he has what it takes to be USM's primary QB. During 2024, as part of Northern Illinois, he logged 144 completed passes for 1,600 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Impact Unlike 2023 and 2024, the latter of which Pittman completely sat out, 2025 saw Pittman regularly log double-digit rushing attempts while healthy. He reached well over 100 carries for a total of 695 yards (4.5 averaged per carry) and eight touchdowns.
