Impact Brahmer received a season-high eight targets as Iowa State fought from behind for the entirety of the game. He's been a busy tight end in 2025 with 19 grabs (on 26 targets) for 186 yards and three touchdowns. With the Cyclones' defense struggling of late, he remains a viable option for fantasy starting line-ups. He's in play for yet another week with a favorable matchup at Colorado.

Xavier Townsend - Records 50 yards at Cincy Townsend recorded six receptions (on seven targets) for 50 yards during Saturday's 38-30 loss against Cincinnati.
Impact Townsend recorded a season-high six catches in the loss on the road. Iowa State played from behind the entire game, so it did result in a higher volume of production going to the receivers. Townsend was the third or fourth option for QB Rocco Becht as Brett Eskildsen, Chase Sowell, and Benjamin Brahmer all received significant targets. Iowa State will play at Colorado next week.

Chase Sowell - Nabs first score with Cyclones Sowell hauled in 5 of 9 targets for 58 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 38-30 defeat against Cincinnati.
Impact Sowell recorded his first touchdown with the Cyclones. It's worth noting that he did briefly leave the game after a hard fall but was able to return. The transfer receiver is heating up with nine catches (on 14 targets) for 204 yards and a touchdown in his last two games. With Iowa State's defense struggling of late, Sowell could continue this pace and be more productive in the second half of the season. Iowa State will play at Colorado next week.
