College Football Playoff Bracket: How Each Team Could Win a National Title
Carnell Tate - Logs 45 yards and touchdown Tate reeled in all four targets for 45 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 13-10 defeat versus Indiana.
Impact Across his last four games, Tate's latest is somehow his worst. Each of the matchups include at least a Tate touchdown and 50 receiving yards, only one in which he successfully logged Saturday. Tate's aforementioned span features 20 receptions (on 22 targets) for 362 yards and five touchdowns, an excellent level of efficiency the Buckeyes will want to continue.

Jeremiah Smith - Records 144 receiving yards Smith hauled in 8 of 10 targets for 144 yards during Saturday's 13-10 defeat versus Indiana.
Impact For 2025, 144 marks Smith's second-highest number of receiving yards, just under the 153 he logged against Ohio in Week 3. In barely over one-third of OSU's games this season, he logged zero touchdowns, and the Big Ten Championship matchup is among them.

Bo Jackson - Logs 96 all-purpose yards Jackson logged 17 rushes for 83 yards and gathered in all two targets for 13 yards during Saturday's 13-10 defeat against Indiana.
Impact For the first time since Week 11, Jackson logged below triple-digit yards. Following the 2025 Buckeyes' first loss, they will wait for Tulane and Ole Miss to determine their quarterfinal opponent. Entering this year's College Football Playoff, Jackson has over 1,000 rushing yards and five touchdowns, ridiculously excellent freshman numbers.

Julian Sayin - Hindered by Hoosiers Sayin was 21-for-29 passing for 258 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 13-10 defeat against Indiana. He also had six rushes for -29 yards.
Impact Davison Igbinosun's early interception of an errant Fernando Mendoza pass allowed Sayin a red-zone opportunity he took complete advantage of, as he connected with Carnell Tate for Ohio State's touchdown Saturday. But after the lone TD, he noticeably struggled, best indicated by his several sacks suffered and a botched QB sneak on 4th-and-1 under 10 yards in front of Indiana's end zone. Fortunately for the Buckeyes, they only go down one spot in the College Football Playoff seeding, but Sayin will need to step up after showing signs of flaws in recent games.
