Gavin Sawchuk - Headed to Evanston Sawchuk will transfer to Northwestern, per Chris Hummer of 247Sports.com.

Impact Sawchuk spent the 2025 season at Florida State after spending the first three years of his career in Norman with the Sooners. He was productive in a rotational role this past fall for the Seminoles, totaling 607 yards and nine touchdowns, and he's had a largely productive career, amassing 1,714 total yards and 20 touchdowns during his career. He'll have one more season of eligibility remaining with the Wildcats.

Mar'Kel Porter - Lands at Northwestern Porter will transfer to Northwestern, per On3.com.

Impact Porter spent two seasons at Bowling Green, and in 2025, he ran for 93 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries, also reeling in seven receptions for 70 yards. With three years of eligibility, the 6-foot-1, 220-pound tailback will take his talents to Evanston.

Jackson Kleather - Transfers to Northwestern Kleather has elected to transfer to Northwestern, per his personal X account.

Impact Kleather knocked home 19 of his 22 field-goal attempts and all 26 extra-point attempts at Bowling Green last season, and he's found a new home at a Big Ten school thanks to that success rate. Kleather should have one season of eligibility remaining for the Wildcats.

Impact Honig is coming off a career year with UConn in which he reeled in 13 catches for 162 yards and three scores. He doesn't have a whole lot of production to his name across his career, but he'll take his one remaining season of eligibility to the Wildcats and look to become a staple of the Northwestern tight end room.

Aidan Chiles - Commits to Northwestern Chiles has committed to Northwestern, according to Pete Thamel of ESPN.com.

Impact Chiles is expected to thrive with Chip Kelly as offensive coordinator, and the former Michigan State and Oregon State signal-caller will have the chance to best his numbers from the 2025 season, where he posted a 10:3 TD:INT while tossing for 1,392 yards. His best season came in 2024, when he made 12 appearances and tossed for a career-high 2,415 yards while notching 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

Impact For 2025, Wilde's latest game includes his first multi-touchdown appearance. The wide receiver has been reliable for TDs all year, with eight across Northwestern's last 10 games. It is safe to say Wilde has acclimated well to Power Conference football after transferring from South Dakota State, with not only his eight touchdowns to back him up but also 71 receptions (on 113 targets) he logged for 880 yards.

Caleb Komolafe - Touchdown streak continues Komolafe tallied 15 carries for 55 yards and one touchdown and hauled in all two targets for nine yards during Friday's 34-7 victory versus Central Michigan.

Impact Each of Komolafe's last five games includes a touchdown on his part. The running back has impressed all year, with all but one of his last 10 games featuring at least one TD. In 2025, Komolafe logged 12 touchdowns, scoring that many times on 190 rushing attempts and 11 receptions for just over 1,000 yards, 1,001 on 941 rushing and 60 receiving yards.

Preston Stone - Excellent during bowl Stone was 19-for-31 passing for 226 yards and three touchdowns during Friday's 34-7 victory versus Central Michigan.

Impact For only the third time in 2025, Stone logged more than two touchdowns, positively ending his collegiate career. For the year, he transferred colleges from SMU and Northwestern, yielding mixed results as NU's leading man under center. Stone completed 222 of 370 pass attempts for 2,400 yards and a 17-12 TD-INT ratio, plentiful in quantity but still far from a 2023 season that Northwestern hoped he would replicate.

Joseph Himon II - Out with foot injury Himon is out for Saturday's bowl game with Central Michigan because of a foot injury, Matthew Shelton of On3 reports.

Impact For a while, Himon's injury was relatively vague in description, described as a lower-body problem that could have been anywhere from the waist down. It turns out that the running back hurt his right foot from a hip-drop tackle at Illinois, and the foot will be what he focuses on going into 2026.

Drew Wagner - Good for CMU clash Wagner (undisclosed) is available for Friday's bowl game with Central Michigan.

Impact Up until Week 13, when Wagner got hurt, he had logged at least one reception in each of Northwestern's games. The lack of depth in Northwestern's running back room, minus a returning Caleb Komolafe may force the Wildcats' hand at passing the ball more, which may give Wagner increased targets to work with against Central Michigan.

Impact With both Joseph Himon (lower body) and Dashun Reeder (undisclosed) out, Komolafe gives Northwestern a much-needed running back that the team can use for its upcoming bowl. He will also be given free rein, which may be enough for him to finish 2025 with more than 1,000 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns this year. Komolafe is 125 and one short respectively.

Impact Reader would have given Northwestern's much needed running back depth with Joseph Himon (lower body), but the former is also a scratch for their upcoming bowl game. Despite alternating between stellar and unimpressive performances from Weeks 3 to 8, Reader's ups ensure he finishes 2025 with a relatively adequate season by freshman standards.
