Impact Monangai rushed for over 100 yards for the first time since Week 8 while also logging season-high in receiving yards and his first receiving touchdown of the season. The 5-foot-9 senior's career-high 28 carries also helped to etch him in the program history books, as he became the third running back in Rutgers history to rush for over 3,000 career yards. Across 10 appearances this season, Monangai has logged 1,150 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns. He'll have a good chance to surpass his previous career high for rushing yards in a season during next week's finale against Michigan State.

Athan Kaliakmanis - Scores four TDs in loss Kaliakmanis completed 18 of 36 passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 38-31 defeat against Illinois. He also had 13 rushes for 84 yards with two touchdowns.

Impact Kaliakmanis put together his best rushing performance of the season with highs in carries and yards. The 6-foot-3 senior also scored just his second and third rushing touchdowns of the season, as he had the rare honor of scoring two red-zone touchdowns rather than the team's bell-cow back Kyle Monangai. Kaliakmanis was thus responsible for all four of his team's touchdowns, and he did more than enough to win the game. But, the Scarlet Knights fell late due to an improbable, last-second 40-yard touchdown for the Fighting Illini. Kaliakmanis has now totaled eight touchdowns to two turnovers over the last four games, and he'll look to finish the season strong next week versus Michigan State.
