Impact There were seven games in 2020 in which Bazelak failed to throw a single touchdown. He is already off to a better start in 2021, as he notched at least two touchdown throws for just the third time in his collegiate career. A road date with Kentucky will make things more difficult, though Bazelak is a redshirt sophomore and is a much more experienced passer at this juncture.

Tyler Badie - Dominant performance' Badie rushed 25 times for 203 yards and a touchdown Saturday against Central Michigan, while also catching three passes for 40 yards and an additional score in the 34-24 win.

Impact As expected, the departure of Larry Rountree gives Badie a sizeable workload, and he responded with a superb outing in the season opener. Expect at least 20 touches in every game for the versatile Badie, who has excellent hands as a receiver as well. A matchup at Kentucky could be more difficult, but Badie has significant guaranteed touches.

Lew Nichols - Runs for 135 vs. Missouri Nichols had 19 carries for 135 yards and a touchdown, along with four catches for 40 yards, Saturday against Missouri.

Impact Kobe Lewis's absence has opened the door for Nichols to be the Chippewas' clear No. 1 back, and in the season opener he bursted through it. A burnable matchup is coming against Robert Morris next week, with only the possibility of limited work in a one-sided outcome as the downside in fantasy terms.

Jacob Sirmon - Throws for over 290 vs. Missouri Sirmon went 23-for-45 for 295 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions on Saturday against Missouri.

Impact In his first college start, and considering he was sacked and under pressure a bunch, Sirmon didn't look too bad. A far easier matchup is coming next week against Robert Morris.
