Impact After suffering an ACL tear in August, Craig did not play Missouri's 2025 season. But for Mizzou's spring practice, he is already seen working on field goals, indicating that his previously injured knee will be good to go. Craig will look to return to his 2024 role as the Tigers' primary placekicker, which is definitely a possibility considering their kicking depth.

Matt Zollers - In competition for starting role Zollers will be part of a four-player competition for the starting quarterback job, Cody Goodwin of 247Sports reports.

Impact Zollers appeared in seven games as a true freshman, completing 53.4 percent of his passes for 503 yards and a 4:2 TD:INT. While 2025 starter Beau Pribula has transferred out, the Tigers added Austin Simmons (Ole Miss) and Nick Evers (UConn) in the transfer portal. Those two, plus Zollers and true freshman Gavin Sidwar are all in the competition for QB1, according to head coach Eli Drinkwitz. Zollers likely has the second-best chances, behind Simmons.

Impact Simmons lost the starting job at Ole Miss after being injured early in the season, and he transferred to Missouri, where he stands as the favorite to serve as the starting quarterback. However, he'll have to prove himself to earn the position, as returner Matt Zollers, UConn transfer Nick Evers and true freshman Gavin Sidwar are also in the mix for the role, per Drinkwitz.
