Asher Hale def. Guru Raaj

You could see it in his eyes from the moment he stepped through the curtain: Asher Hale was a desperate man.

The rebellious competitor got off to a strong start in his 205 Live tenure, but the relative newcomer nevertheless entered his bout against Guru Raaj on a five-match losing streak.

Raaj, who earned his first win in WWE by rolling up Hale last week, nearly made it two in a row when he spiked his opponent head-first into the mat with a bulldog, but Raaj kicked out just in the nick of time.

Moments later, Hale drilled Raaj with a kick, a swinging neckbreaker and a unique suplex in rapid succession to earn the much-needed victory. After the bell, a fired-up Hale celebrated his win while a look of relief washed over his face.

Jake Atlas def. Ari Sterling

If you blinked during 205 Live’s edge-of-your-seat clash between Jake Atlas and Ari Sterling, there’s a good chance you missed something amazing.

In a match that was as evenly fought as it was frenzied, each competitor used incredible athleticism to wiggle free from the other’s hurricanrana attempt, leading to an early stalemate.

Following a malicious exchange of strikes in the center of the ring, Sterling downed his opponent by flipping Atlas across the ring with a top-rope hurricanrana.

After whiffing on a 450 attempt, however, Sterling found himself chucked head-first into the bottom turnbuckle, and Atlas followed up with a picture-perfect Cartwheel DDT for the victory. Atlas offered a handshake, and Sterling accepted as 205 Live concluded.
