Muschamp working his magic: USC gets pledge from elite local player
Will Muschamp is red-hot right now when it comes to recruiting for the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Since taking over, he's garnered commitments from five prospects -- the latest being Scout.com 4-star athlete Javon Kinlaw.
A native of Goose Creek, South Carolina, Kinlaw registers at 6'7", 288 pounds. He opted to become a Gamecock over offers from Louisville, Florida, and Alabama.
While raw (and far from reaching his potential), Kinlaw is an incredibly tantalizing prospect. He's immensely massive from a size standpoint. Positional versatility is arguably his greatest asset -- as Kinlaw's able to play at both defensive end and offensive tackle.
Muschamp surely cannot wait to mold the uber-athletic player once he steps foot on campus. If Kinlaw does reach his ceiling, he's a potential all-conference player.
