The Vikings have waived tight end Chase Ford in order to make room for cornerback Josh Robinson.
The third-year Miami product hasn't appeared in a game this season and has just 34 career receptions for 391 yards and one touchdown.
Now in his fourth season with Minnesota, Robinson started the season on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list after suffering a torn pectoral muscle and missing training camp.

Robinson returned to practice late last month, and has logged five interceptions and 139 total tackles since being drafted by the Vikings out of Central Florida in 2012.
