Colorado Avalanche defenseman Ryan Wilson has suffered a head injury against the Calgary Flames and will not return to the lineup.

Wilson got into a fight with Flames forward Jamal Mayers with 3:23 left in the first period and drew a five-minute major.

Wilson, a rookie, missed two games in January with a head injury but has played in 16 games since returning Jan. 28. He has three goals and 14 assists in 53 games this year.
