ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) Minnesota Wild captain Mikko Koivu was a late scratch from Saturday night's game with the Detroit Red Wings because of an eye injury.

He is listed day to day.

The Wild center participated in warmups before his scratch was announced. He was one of three Minnesota players - Charlie Coyle and Jason Pominville were the others - to have played in all Wild games this season.

Koivu has 14 goals and 33 assists this season, including three goals and two assists in his past four games.
