CHICAGO (AP) Minnesota Wild right wing Justin Fontaine will miss Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinal series against the Chicago Blackhawks because if a lower-body injury.

Fontaine was hurt Friday night in Game 1. Coach Mike Yeo said Saturday that Fontaine's recovery timetable was unclear, either ''day to day or it might be a week.''

Yeo did not divulge who will take Fontaine's place on the fourth line, where he had been playing with Kyle Brodziak and Matt Cooke. The candidates included Erik Haula, Jordan Schroeder, Sean Bergenheim and Ryan Carter.

Fontaine has played in six of Minnesota's seven playoff games, tallying one goal and one assist.
