Why's Malkin so pumped? He just scored goal of the playoffs

The New York Rangers were able to rally Friday night and force a Game 6 in their Stanley Cup playoff series with a 5-1 win, but Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin netted his team's only goal in impressive fashion.

During the second period, Malkin corralled a pass from Kris Letang and faced three Rangers players between himself and the net. Never one to be intimidated, Malkin plowed his way through two defensemen, somehow keeping track of the puck on his stick and getting off a shot.

Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist was able to stop the first shot, but Malkin kept his eye on the puck, gathered the rebound off the wall and got another shot off past Lundqvist.

All in all, it was a pretty impressive sequence. Check it out in the video below . . .
