Thursday was another slow day for live sports, with the NBA off for the second time this week and just one-third of Major League Baseball taking the field.
Thankfully, three thrilling NHL playoff games were more than enough to keep fans on their toes, as the Rangers avoided a sweep with an overtime win at home and the Wings beat Chicago, while the Kings topped San Jose to move to within a game of a conference finals matchup out west.
On the basketball court, LeBron and Kobe both made made the All-NBA First Team (surprise!), along with Kevin Durant, Tim Duncan and Chris Paul, and the Zen Master said he’d start a team with Bill Russell over MJ.
