WATCH: Canadian high school hockey player scores incredible goal
Anyone interested in future NHL prospects should keep the name Nathan Pelletier in mind. The teen, who plays for the Burnaby Winter Club Hockey Academy, scored an incredible goal in a recent game as he showed off his impressive hand-eye coordination.
Pelletier dug a puck out of the corner and worked toward the net, where a teammate was waiting to bang home a pass. But when the opposing defense collapsed in on the passing lane, Pelletier simply chipped the puck up over a sliding defender and batted it out of mid-air past the goaltender.
It's impressive awareness for a high school hockey player and an incredible show of skill. If Pelletier keeps it up, he might have a nice hockey career in his future.
