Vancouver Canucks prospect Jordan Schroeder will play in his third straight world junior hockey championship after being picked to the 22-man United States roster for the 2010 tournament.

Schroeder and fellow forwards Tyler Johnson and Danny Kristo are the only returning players from the 2009 squad, which finished fifth in Ottawa.

Joining the trio of returning forwards for the event that opens Saturday are seven players from the gold medal-winning under-18 team: forwards Ryan Bourque, Jerry D'Amigo, Jeremy Morin and Jason Zucker; defensemen Cam Fowler and John Ramage; and goalie Jack Campbell.

The Americans open play against Slovakia in Saskatoon on Saturday.
