Two NHL teams accidentally wore the same color jersey
The Dallas Stars and Florida Panthers played a neutral site preseason game over the weekend in London, Ontario and, with both teams away from the comfort of home, it seems that they forgot to pack their home jerseys.
There was a clear miscommunication between the two teams and, thus, they both ultimately had to play the game wearing their white road jerseys. Obviously, a white vs. white matchup is not ideal for players involved or for fans watching.

It seems like the kind of mistake that could only happen in a video game, in which case the player would probably just quit the game and restart. Unfortunately, that wasn't an option for these two squads so they had to grin and bear it for three periods.
It's preseason for everyone, including the equipment managers.
