Alex Tanguay set up two goals - including Jarome Iginla's game winner - in the Calgary Flames' 3-2 split-squad preseason victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday night.

With the score tied 2-2 in the third period, Tanguay sent Iginla down the right wing. The Flames captain then ripped a wrist shot over the glove of goalie Tyler Weiman.

Tanguay was also involved in the Flames' first goal. With Calgary short-handed and trailing 1-0 in the second, Tanguay broke away on a 2-on-1 with Mikael Backlund and feathered a pass to the Swedish youngster, who deflected the puck past starting goalie Eddie Lack.

Ales Kotalik also scored for Calgary. Jannik Hansen and Marco Rosa had goals for the Canucks.
