Stars sign Ott to 4-year, $11.8 million extension

The Dallas Stars have signed veteran forward Steve Ott to a four-year, $11.8 million contract extension.

The deal announced Monday locks up the 27-year-old winger through the 2013-14 season. Ott has played all 389 games of his NHL career with the Stars.

Ott has 11 goals and 12 assists in 52 games this season. He had career highs with 19 goals, 27 assists and 46 points last season.
