Stars recall RW Segal from Texas of AHL

The Dallas Stars have recalled right wing Brandon Segal from Texas of the AHL Stars for Thursday night's game against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Segal had to clear re-entry waivers before he could rejoin the Stars.

Segal adds forward depth to the Stars, who are missing injured right wing Loui Eriksson (upper body). Eriksson, Dallas' No. 3 scorer with 23 goals, got hurt Tuesday during a 6-3 loss to San Jose.

Segal played in 36 games for the Stars earlier this season, posting four goals and five assists.
