Stars' Grossman returns after 11-game absence

Published Mar. 11, 2011 9:30 p.m. ET

Dallas Stars defenseman Nicklas Grossman returned Friday night against the Minnesota Wild after missing 11 games because of a hip injury.

Grossman was injured Feb. 13 against Columbus.

Before the injury, Grossman was on the top defensive pair with Stephane Robidas.

But while Grossman was out, the Stars acquired defenseman Alex Goligoski in a trade with Pittsburgh, and Dallas coach Marc Crawford installed Goligoski on the No. 1 duo with Robidas.
