SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) The San Jose Sharks have reassigned forward Bracken Kearns to Worcester of the AHL.

The team made the move Tuesday to create room for the expected return from the injured list later this week of forwards Logan Couture and Raffi Torres.

Kearns has three goals, one assist and six penalty minutes in 22 games this season with San Jose.

The Sharks open the post-Olympic break stretch of their schedule on Thursday night in Philadelphia.
