Roberto Luongo trolls Maple Leafs, Lightning with hilarious Twitter quip

Tampa Bay Lightning fans and Toronto Maple Leafs fans have dreamed all season of the prospect of Steven Stamkos signing his next contract with their club, but Stamkos has remained mum on all contract negotiations this season. It looks like Atlantic Division rival Roberto Luongo has a preference as to where he'd like to see Stamkos sign.

The Florida Panthers goaltender cast his vote between games at the NHL All-Star Game Sunday as his Atlantic Division squad prepared for the final of the 3-on-3 tournament.

Leo Komarov, of course, is a member of the Maple Leafs.

Stamkos will become a free agent for the first time in his career if he fails to reach a contract extension with the Lightning before July 1, 2016. The two-time Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy winner and four-time All-Star has played the entirety of his seven-year NHL career with the Lightning, who selected Stamkos with the first overall pick of the 2008 NHL Draft.

Luongo's humor extended beyond Stamkos, however, as he paid tribute to Patrice Bergeron's defensive play and John Scott's newfound status as a sniper during the game as well.
