Reports: Krejci, Bruins agree to six-year contract extension
The Boston Bruins will keep another core player, reportedly agreeing to a six-year, $43.5 million contract extension with top-six center David Krejci.
Multiple outlets, including TSN and ESPN, cited sources in reporting the deal Wednesday. The Bruins haven't announced anything regarding an extension for Krejci.
TSN's Aaron Ward also reported that Krejci's extension includes a no-movement clause in years 1 through 4 and a no-trade clause in the final two seasons.

Krejci's $7.25 million salary-cap hit would be the highest on the Bruins, surpassing Tuukka Rask's $7 million annual average value. Krejci's extension wouldn't begin until the 2015-16 season -- he has one more year left on his current contract at $5.25 million, per CapGeek.
The 28-year-old forward made his NHL debut during the 2006-07 season and has spent his entire career with the Bruins. He has 378 points (110 goals, 268 assists) in 504 career games.
Krejci also is a proven postseason performer. He has posted 77 points (29 goals, 48 assists) in 93 career playoff games, while leading the 2011 and 2013 Stanley Cup playoffs in scoring.
Defenseman Torey Krug and right winger Reilly Smith are the only Bruins still unsigned. The team begins rookie camp Sept. 11 and starts training camp one week later. The Bruins open the regular season Oct. 8 at home against the Philadelphia Flyers.
