Canucks goalie Ryan Miller will miss 4-6 weeks because of a sprained knee, general manager Jim Benning told TSN 1040 radio in Vancouver.

Miller was injured in Sunday's 4-0 win over the New York Islanders when he collided with teammate Jannik Hansen. An MRI exam Monday revealed the sprain.

Miller is 28-15-1 with a .913 save percentage and a 2.47 goals against average this season.

Vancouver is tied for fifth in the Western Conference with 73 points. Backup goalie Eddie Lack replaced Miller on Sunday, and the Canucks have called up goalie Jacob Markstrom from their AHL affiliate.
